I have been working on the Peace Am I art series for a year showing children of color as embodiments of peace. Happy to announce the first part of the series (yes, there is a second part to the series) has been picked up by North Atlantic Books (Partner of Harper and Collins)
My paintings from the first part of my Peace Am I art series, and its accompanying story will be published by North Atlantic Books (Partner of Harper and Collins), as a children’s yoga and mindfulness called “My Heart Flies Open”. The series is dedicated to showing children of color as embodiments of peace that they are, and reminding us all of those important qualities of joy, love, peace, kindness that we all are.
I initially took on CrossFit trainings after a spending a lifetime in professional athletics. The fact that I loved sports so much contributed a lot to my decision.
